The Mackenzie O'Brien kicked off the live entertainment as kids and their parents enjoyed delicacies including chicken tenders, cheese curds and popcorn at tables decorated with bright orange pumpkins. Scarecrow and jack-o'-lantern themed inflatables were popular with kids as well.

Bag-toss and “Connect Four” games were situated among decorative hay bales and pumpkins, and were popular with adults as well as kids.

“It's a great community event and it’s awesome to have everyone come together,” said Jamie McCalister, supervisor of parties, rentals and special events for the Schaumburg Park District.
