Applications open through Aug. 5 for Warrenville’s small-business incubator program

The City of Warrenville is accepting applications through Aug. 5 for the inaugural Warrenville Mercantile, a seasonal small-business incubator designed to help entrepreneurs, makers, retailers, food vendors, and emerging businesses grow their customer base and test new markets.

The Warrenville Mercantile offers vendors an affordable opportunity to showcase their products in a curated retail environment while benefiting from city-led marketing, community events, and increased visibility.

The first full season, opening Sept. 10 to Dec. 6, will feature curated vendors, seasonal programming, community events, and holiday shopping opportunities.

During the grand opening weekend (Sept. 10-13), enjoy music by Warrenville’s own Katie Kostner on Saturday, Sept. 12.

The Mercantile is seeking a diverse mix of businesses, including: artisan and specialty retailers, makers and handcrafted goods businesses, food and beverage vendors, artists and creative entrepreneurs, specialty product businesses, and emerging businesses looking to grow and expand.

Interested businesses should submit a completed application along with all required supporting materials.

The vendor application is available online at warrenville.il.us/993/Warrenville-Mercantile. Read all application information in full as incomplete applications will not be selected.

Space is limited, and vendor selection will be based on product quality, business readiness, community fit, and overall contribution to a diverse vendor mix.

Applications will have a priority deadline of Aug. 5, 2026.

The Warrenville Mercantile hours will be 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Leone Schmidt Heritage Park, 28W164 Warrenville Road in Warrenville.
