While the carnival will be only slightly rearranged from its traditional layout, one of the biggest adjustments is the move of the arts & crafts show from the south side of the pond to a street fest-style layout primarily along Summit Drive.

Parking for disabled patrons is at the Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 parking lot north of the municipal grounds on Schaumburg Road. Summit Drive will be closed between Schaumburg Road and Stock Port Lane beginning at 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4.

Summit Drive will temporarily close between Schaumburg Road and News Mills Court from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 for festival setup before briefly reopening for overnight traffic. Summit will then close again from Schaumburg Road to Stock Port Lane at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4 and remain closed until about 10:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7.

On Labor Day itself, Summit Drive will close at 8 a.m. from Wise Road to Beech Drive for the parade. Parking will be prohibited on Beech Drive from where the parade disembarks from 7 a.m. until about 1 p.m.
