1 person injured in McHenry house fire

One person was injured in a house fire Friday night in McHenry.

The McHenry Township Fire Protection District said it was called at 10:21 p.m. to the single-family home in the 5000 block of Pyndale Drive.

One resident was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The house was declared uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
