Woodridge man accused of sexually abusing teenager

A Woodridge man is being detained pretrial on charges he sexually abused a 15-year-old boy he met on Snapchat.

Christian Suarez Isoldi, 32, of the 2400 block of Waterbury Drive, is charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a felony.

A friend of the boy called Woodridge police around 12:39 a.m. June 4, asking them to check the boy’s well-being. The caller told police the boy had been communicating with a man regarding sexual acts.

Police found the boy, naked, in a closet in a bedroom of Suarez Isoldi’s apartment, according to a news release from the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office.

The two met on Snapchat June 3. The boy sneaked out of his house after midnight and Suarez Isoldi picked him up, authorities said.

His next court hearing is June 29.
