Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at annual corned beef, cabbage dinner

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day early when St. James Episcopal Church in West Dundee hosts a Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner on Sunday, March 6.

This traditional Irish meal will be served along with a gourmet horseradish sauce and Guinness gravy in the parish hall, 516 Washington St. in West Dundee.

Tickets will be sold in two seatings, which include dinner and music and dancing. First seating will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the second seating will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

During the meal, the prizewinning Dundee Scottish Pipe Band will provide authentic Irish and Scottish music.

Purchase your tickets at the parish office or at the door. Seating is limited and advance ticket purchases are suggested.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door; for children, age 6 to 12, it is $6 or $7, or for seniors, $10 or $12. For children under age 5, a donation is suggested.
