Polystyrene foam drop off in Lake Zurich

A drop off for expanded polystyrene, commonly referred to by the trademarked name Styrofoam, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at the rear lot of the American Legion hall, 51 Lions Drive in Lake Zurich.

The village’s program is held on the first and third Saturday of the month. The foam should have the No. 6 symbol and be loose and free of other packing materials. Food service containers should be wiped clean and dry. No straws, lids, labels, tape, trash, packaging peanuts or insulation. For residential use only.
