Police said the children were playing outside at recess just before 1 p.m. Thursday at Canterbury Elementary School when 69-year-old Jack Glauner exposed himself and then fled in a vehicle.

Witnesses provided police with a description of the vehicle and officers eventually located Glauner and arrested him.

He is charged with felony indecent exposure and also faces a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.

He remains behind bars at the McHenry County jail awaiting trial.
