Registration now open for Wheaton’s Gary UMC summer Bible camps

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton is offering two Bible camps this summer.

The camps will be 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Thursday, June 22-25, at the church, 224 N. Main St. Cost is $35 per participant. Registration for both camps is now open at garychurch.org/registrations.

Rainforest Falls vacation Bible school serves incoming preschool 4-year-olds through fourth grade. The Exchange BLAST Camp serves incoming fifth- through eighth-graders.

At Rainforest Falls VBS, kids will plunge into a life-long adventure, discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God who knows them and promises to love them forever. VBS campers will enjoy games, music, science gizmos, snacks, stories and more.

At The Exchange BLAST Camp, students are invited to engage in community-transforming mission and see how we can all exchange wisdom with each other (no matter our age) by helping each other discover gifts, develop discernment, get equipped and find strength to follow Jesus. BLAST campers will go on field trips, serve in mission, play games, learn stories, enjoy snacks and more.

The church has vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions. Sunday worship is at 9 and 11:11 a.m. In-between services, there’s Sunday school for all ages, a coffee fellowship hour, plus the chapel is available for prayer and reflection.
