Everything Expo in Lake Zurich offers ‘perfect opportunity’ for small businesses

Live entertainment including dance demonstrations and a reptile show combined with vendors from 60 local business and organizations at the Everything Expo at the Foglia YMCA in Lake Zurich Saturday.

Vendors included a variety of local business that offered goods and services such as roofing and siding, landscaping and chiropractic care. Most of the vendors had free giveaways or goody bags for people who stopped at their tables.

“It's an event for people in the community to know what businesses are here in the area because you'd be surprised how many of the small business they (otherwise) don't know about,” said Victoria Katz, member services and event manager for the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce. “It's a perfect opportunity.”

Performances included demonstrations by the Fred Astaire School of Dance of Long Grove, Dave DiNaso's Traveling World of Reptiles and a Lake County Sheriff K9 demonstration.
