Schedule change for Lake Zurich’s polystyrene recycling program

The schedule of Lake Zurich’s polystyrene recycling program has changed to 9 to 11 a.m. the first and third Saturday of the month.

There are no weekday drop-off days. Starting April 4, collections are at the American Legion parking lot, 51 Lions Drive to accept No. 6 polystyrene, widely used by different industries and products including food containers, protective packaging and egg cartons.

Materials being dropped off must be clean and dry. Packing peanuts not accepted. Volunteers are being sought. No experience necessary. Visit lakezurich.org.
