Schaumburg Library offers monthly Memory Cafe program for seniors
Schaumburg Township District Library is pleased to introduce a new monthly program for seniors living with memory loss or dementia and their caregivers.
The library’s new Memory Café is a free, welcoming social gathering for individuals experiencing dementia or memory challenges.
Memory Cafés provide a supportive environment where participants can connect with others, enjoy engaging activities and spend meaningful time together. Each session includes social time, a themed group activity and light refreshments. Participants must be accompanied by a family member, friend or caregiver.
Programs are held on the first Tuesday of each month from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
Upcoming sessions are led by Sarah Moore from Synergy Home Care and are open to anyone. No library card is required.
Spring Activities and Floral Arranging will be March 3, followed by Planting Activity and Poetry Memories on April 7 and Patriotic Craft and Activities on May 5.
