No injuries in Gilberts house fire

No one was hurt and a house sustained minimal damage from a fire Wednesday in Gilberts.

The Rutland-Dundee Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on Windmill Place just before 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 to find heavy flames on the side of the home.

Firefighters were able to limit the damage to the home’s exterior siding and the gas meter, and estimated the loss of $4,000.
