Fox & Hound Bar & Grill in Schaumburg abruptly closes after Super Bowl

Super Bowl LX proved to be the unheralded grand finale for Schaumburg’s Fox & Hound Bar & Grill, which did not reopen the following day.
Schaumburg Economic Development Director Matt Frank said the abrupt closure was a surprise to both the village and the owner of the Remington Plaza shopping center.
The sports bar at 1416 N. Roselle Road opened more than two decades ago, occupying an approximately 12,000-square-foot unit of Remington Plaza.
The Fox & Hound Bar & Grill has posted a note on its Schaumburg door announcing its closure.

The restaurant chain’s corporate office did not respond to a request for comment Friday. But only a Kansas City-area location was clearly identified as still active on the Fox & Hound website.
There are no pending tenants at this time for the space Fox & Hound leaves behind, Frank said.
