Four arrested fleeing from police in unrelated incidents

In line with DuPage County’s efforts to charge anyone accused of attempting to flee from police, officers with the Addison, Bensenville, Elmhurst and Glen Ellyn Police Departments arrested four individuals Thursday night.

· 26-year-old Bryanna Matthews is accused of fleeing from a Glen Ellyn cop Thursday. Reports say she drove over a curb and hit a fire hydrant, causing over $300 in damage. She was released as she awaits her court appearance.

· 23-year-old Eduardo Nieves is accused of fleeing Bensenville officers Thursday at about 81 mph in a 30-mph zone. Police arrested him at home after he returned to DuPage County and was denied pre-trial release.

· 23-year-old Michael Tricoci is accused of fleeing an Addison officer on Thursday at about 80 mph in a 35-mph zone, and crashing into a semi-truck. He was also denied pre-trial release.

· 26-year-old Jamal Turner is accused of fleeing from an Elmhurst officer on January 14 after the officer tried to pull him over for having no front license plate.

He allegedly traveled over 60 mph in a construction zone on I-294.

Turner was arrested the next day, and the judge denied the State’s motion to detain him pre-trial.

Each individual is charged with one count of Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding in unrelated incidents — a Class 4 Felony — misdemeanor and several petty traffic offenses.
