Park Ridge police investigate crash involving pedestrian

Park Ridge police are investigating a Saturday morning traffic crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Cumberland and Peterson avenues.

The accident occurred at about 6:26 a.m. and involved a vehicle that struck a pedestrian who was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

The intersection remains closed as police continue to investigate the crash.
