Learn about Des Plaines’ new annual budget

Des Plaines Alderman Mike Charewicz will host an open meeting for 8th Ward residents Tuesday night.

The gathering is set for 7 p.m. at Friendship Park Conservatory, 395 W. Algonquin Road. City Finance Director Agnes Podbial will be there to discuss the $230 million budget for the 2026 fiscal year, which begins Jan. 1.
