Car hits Wauconda grocery store
No one was injured when a car struck a grocery store Saturday morning in Wauconda.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. at Three Amigas, 450 W. Liberty St.
Wauconda Fire District Battalion Chief John Spratt said a woman drove a vehicle over a curb and into some doors to the store.
There was no structural damage. The store remained open, with customers using another set of doors, he said.
