Man killed in drive-by shooting at Ingleside birthday party

A 19-year-old Round Lake man was shot and killed Friday after an argument at a birthday party in Ingleside, police said.
Lake County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about 11:15 p.m. Friday and found the man’s body at a home on the 35700 block of North Wilson Road.
A group showed up to the party and got into an argument with others there, then left the party, police said.
Police said they got into their vehicles, drove by the residence, and started shooting, hitting the man standing in the driveway.
The man had been shot in the upper body, and deputies and responding paramedics tried to save his life without success.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.
