Attend Schaumburg’s Public Safety Open House Oct. 11
The village of Schaumburg invites the public to attend its annual Public Safety Open House featuring interactive demonstrations and exhibits from the Schaumburg Fire and Police departments. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Public Safety Campus, 950/1000 W. Schaumburg Road. This family-friendly event is free and will be held rain or shine.
The event allows the public to meet Schaumburg’s first responders and learn more about their critical services.
Activities will include live fire sprinkler and vehicle extrication demonstrations, police department tours, blood pressure checks and stroke assessments with Ascension Health, and other activities. This event will also include a bake sale benefiting the Shop with a Cop program, informational booths, games and giveaways while supplies last.
