Driver crashes near Elburn after suffering medical emergency

A driver having a medical emergency suffered minor injuries in an early morning, single-vehicle crash Friday near Elburn.

A Kane County sheriff’s office press release said the 37-year-old man was driving a Honda Civic north on La Fox Road near the Route 38 intersection when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

The man was transported to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva for treatment. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, investigators said.
