Urban and community forestry listening session

Lake County and the Lake County Forest Preserve District are hosting a public listening session to share progress and get feedback on a new Urban and Community Forestry Strategic Plan being developed.

The session is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Greenbelt Cultural Center, 1215 N. Green Bay Road, North Chicago.

The goal is to create long-term strategies for trees and green spaces throughout the county.
