District 128 to host listening sessions with new superintendent
Marc Schaffer, the new superintendent of Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128, is inviting the community to back-to-school listening sessions to share thoughts, concerns and ideas in an open, informal setting.
The dates and locations are: 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Aspen Drive Library, 701 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills; 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 25 before the school board meeting at the Vernon Hills High School library classroom, 145 Lakeview Parkway; 9 to 10 a.m. Aug. 28 at Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville; and, 4 to 5 p.m. Sept. 8 before the school board meeting at Libertyville High School Studio Theatre, 708 W. Park Ave. (Route 176).
Refreshments will be provided.
