Irish trio and musical comedian coming to Woodstock Opera House this fall
The Woodstock Opera House, 121 W. Van Buren St., will officially unveil its full 2025-26 season on Friday, Aug. 1, but audiences can already mark their calendars for these upcoming events.
On Saturday, Sept. 6, Socks in the Frying Pan performs at 7:30 p.m. Hailing from County Clare, the award-winning Irish trio brings a high-energy blend of traditional Irish music and contemporary flair. The internationally acclaimed trio, featuring Aodán Coyne (guitar/vocals), Shane Hayes (accordion), and Fiachra Hayes (fiddle), has captivated audiences across the globe with their dazzling musicianship, tight harmonies, and infectious stage presence.
With accolades including “Best New Band” and “Best Live Album,” and appearances at festivals from New Orleans to Denmark, this is Irish music like you’ve never heard before; rich, rhythmic, and deeply rooted in cultural tradition. Tickets are $35 for all seats, including fees.
On Friday, Sept. 19, viral sensation and musical comedian Kristin Key brings her one-woman comedy concert to Woodstock for an evening of music, laughter, and storytelling that’s equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. It will begin at 7:30 p.m.
With over 92 million views, six albums, and national TV credits (NBC’s “Bring the Funny,” “Last Comic Standing,” VH-1, SiriusXM), her fans know to expect the unexpected, original songs, community vibes, and plenty of laughs. A portion of proceeds from the show supports local LGBTQ+ and community organizations. Tickets are $40 for A seating or $35 for B seating (including fees).
