Addison Center for the Arts to host Summer Concerts at the Gazebo

The Addison Center for the Arts is hosting “Summer Concerts at the Gazebo” on Tuesday evenings in July and August.

Get your lawn chairs and coolers full of your favorite relaxing beverages and join them under the stars at the Addison Village Green gazebo at One Friendship Plaza for free performances by local bands.

The series will open on July 8 with “Hurricane: A Tribute to Bob Dylan” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Members of the Petty Kings will be performing with Bob Vasilou as Bob Dylan, Dave Steffen on guitar, Jessica Vasilou on keys, Mike Maloney on bass, and Dave Wisniewski on drums. This show starts at 7 p.m., and features 90 minutes of songs by the one and only Bob Dylan.

The Reunion Jazz Orchestra will be returning to the summer concert series on July 15 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

On July 22, Karla and the Phat Cats is making another appearance at the gazebo with their covers of pop music including Elle King, Amy Winehouse and more from 7 to 9 p.m.

On July 29, Pistol Pete, a Chicago Blues guitarist, will take the stage from 7 to 9 p.m.

On Aug. 12, the FUZE band performs music by Carlos Santana, as well as classic rock, Old School, salsa and more from 7 to 9 p.m.

The series will close out on Aug. 19 with Capriciosso String Quartet back for their third year at the Gazebo from 7 to 9 p.m.
