Wheaton Garden Club awards scholarships, donations for 100th anniversary

Wheaton Garden Club, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, recently announced its philanthropy and scholarship recipients for 2025.

Financial donations were made to We Grow Dreams and Sustain DuPage.

The We Grow Dreams donation will go toward roof repairs and the Sustain DuPage donation will help fund a lending library for tools, a protector native seed program and garden restoration programs.

The high school scholarship recipients, who will be studying biology, are Frida Martinez from Wheaton Warrenville South and Vivian Johnson from Wheaton North.

The College of DuPage scholarship winner is Morgan Rohde, who is focusing on sustainable landscape design.
