Warrenville celebrates Arbor Day April with free tree giveaway

Celebrate Arbor Day with the City of Warrenville from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 26, at Warrenville Park District, 3S260 Warren Ave.

In addition to the ceremonial tree planting, pick up a free tree, check out the environmental fair, get a door prize, and enjoy light refreshments.

This is an autism-friendly event with a quiet space and hands-on activities available!

The annual event is sponsored by the city’s Environmental Advisory Commission.

While supplies last, there will be free tree giveaways: white dogwood, river birch, redbud, basswood, swamp white oak, or shagbark hickory.
