Balanced committed to students, taxpayers
If you agree with me that parents need to have a stronger voice in your child’s education, then now is the time to do something about it. Two mothers have stepped up as write-In candidates to oppose the slate of teacher’s union endorsed and supported candidates. Violetta Flis and Natasha Mucci, both concerned mothers in our community, are proudly announcing their write-In candidacy for the Township District 211 Board of Education in the upcoming April 1 election. They are all about balance and fairness in district leadership and are committed to representing the best interests of students, families and the taxpayers at the board table.
We currently have one board member, Peter Dombrowski, who is not under the umbrella of the teachers’ union and their policies. We have all seen the negative impact the current board has had on policies affecting our students, parents and taxpayers of this community and there is only one way to push back.
Elect candidates who think like you do and have yours and your children’s best interest at heart.
Their focus will be on strong academics (currently 37% of D211 High Schools are proficient at reading and only 31% in math. https://wirepoints.org/kidscantread/kids-cant-read-statewide/), safety for all, responsible use of taxpayer dollars and transparency of district actions.
Your voice needs to be heard at the ballot box on April 1. Remember to bring their names with you into the voting booth so you can write them in.
