Volo man charged with possession of child sex abuse materials

A 48-year-old Volo man is charged with possessing child sex abuse materials and was ordered held in jail to await trial.
Fox Lake police arrested Paul Rosenquist Sunday after responding to reports the man had child sex abuse materials on his phone.
Fox Lake investigators confirmed images and video of child sex abuse on the Rosenquist’s phone and seized it along with other electronic materials from his home.
Images depicted children under the age of 13, authorities said.
Monday, Rosenquist was formally charged and ordered detained pretrial.
Police officials believe more charges are likely once a forensic analysis of Rosenquist’s electronics is completed.
