Police search for shooter in Bolingbrook

No one was injured in a shooting reported early Monday morning in Bolingbrook, but officers are searching for a suspect.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Miner Drive about 3 a.m. Monday for a report of shots fired, according to a statement from the Bolingbrook Police Department.

The homeowner heard a vehicle alarm and went to a second-floor window to see what was going on in the driveway.

The homeowner saw a person standing in the driveway and heard gunshots. The shooter fled the area before police arrived.
