Forensic evidence leads to arrest of Lisle man in Kendall Co. sexual assault
Police charged a Lisle man Saturday in connection with a violent Oswego home invasion in March.
Larry Foster, 31, of the 4000 block of Winward Court, Lisle, is charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault and one count of criminal trespass to a residence.
The arrest stems from a March 16, 2024, break-in at an Oswego home where a man sexually assaulted a resident and fled.
He was caught on surveillance video and images were released to the public. However, it was forensic evidence from the crime scene that led to the arrest, Oswego police said.
Officials said Saturday that the victim knew the assailant.
Felony charges were approved by the Kendall County state’s attorney’s office and on Friday a Kendall County judge issued a warrant for Foster’s arrest.
Oswego police found Foster at his Lisle home Saturday and charged him without incident. He is currently in the Kendall County Jail awaiting a pretrial hearing.
