GLMV chamber of commerce coat drive for veterans

The fifth annual Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills Chamber of Commerce Coat Drive for Vets continues through Friday, Nov. 15.

Old, slightly worn, or new winter coats and other seasonal outerwear to be provided to local veterans and their families in need can be dropped off at more than 30 locations including village halls, police departments, and various business.

The chamber, businesses and municipalities are conducting the drive on behalf of Midwest Veterans Closet, a not-for-profit charity that provides free clothing and other items to those who served. Visit glmvchamber.org for locations. Check with specific location for drop-off times.
