Journeys | The Road Home hosts charity auction and benefit gala Nov. 15
28th annual Bid for Hope charity gala and auction to help end homelessness
The 28th annual Bid for Hope will take place on Friday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m., at the Schaumburg Convention Center. The event will begin with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, photo booth, wine pull, and silent auction. After dinner, a live auction for a Bahamas cruise, lakefront getaway, scooter, and other special items will take place. The evening will conclude with a DJ and dancing.
Bid for Hope raises much needed funds for the shelters and social programs provided by JOURNEYS | The Road Home. Since July this year, 37% more people have come to JOURNEYS for help compared to the same time last year. This has led to a 64% increase in services needed. The Bid for Hope will provide critical funding to meet this increased demand.
Bid for Hope tickets and sponsorships can be purchased at journeystheroadhome.org/bidforhope.
