Schaumburg P.E.O. to host Trivia Night fundraiser Nov. 2

Trivia lovers get ready: Schaumburg P.E.O. Chapter P-LK is hosting its annual Trivia Night fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Bartlett Fire Barn, 218 S. Main St., Bartlett. Cost is $40 per person and includes a taco bar with dessert. A cash bar is also available. Doors open at 6 p.m. The trivia contest begins at 7 p.m.

P.E.O. is a philanthropic educational organization founded in 1869. It has helped more than 122,000 women pursue educational goals by providing more than $415 million in grants, scholarships, awards, and loans. More information on P.E.O. can be found at peointernational.org.

The Schaumburg chapter has actively supported not only P.E.O.'s international scholarship and education programs, but also the Illinois P.E.O. Lulu Corkhill Williams Friendship Fund. The Lulu Fund offers temporary financial assistance to individuals 18 or older (male or female) facing a variety of emergencies, such as medical bills. Proceeds from the fund drive will be donated to P.E.O. causes, including the Lulu Fund. The Schaumburg chapter currently is helping support an individual with medical and financial issues in the local area through the fund.
