Hicks Remix Drive-Thru Recycling Event set for Aug. 17 in Elburn

Flat Can Recycling, an Elburn-based business specializing in recycling hard-to-recycle materials, is hosting its first-ever Hicks Remix Drive-Thru Recycling Event on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 732 Hicks Drive, Elburn.

This event provides residents of Kane County with a convenient opportunity to recycle uncommon items such as aerosol products, latex paint, household batteries, and more.

A variety of specialized items will be accepted, with recycling fees ranging from $1 per can for aerosol products to $20 for PowerWheels Cars with batteries. Cash and all major credit cards are accepted on site.
