Schaumburg Woodfield Trolley expands hours for summer

Schaumburg’s Woodfield Trolley has expanded its hours for the summer.

The trolley now operates from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The expanded hours will continue through Labor Day weekend.

The free trolley service makes stops at eight Woodfield-area destinations about every 30 minutes Sunday through Friday and 20 minutes on Saturdays.

The stops are Woodfield Mall; Streets of Woodfield; Woodfield Village Green; Ikea; Roosevelt University; the Pace Northwest Transportation Center; Hyatt Regency Schaumburg; and the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel. The boarding area at the convention center is located on the west side of the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel near the entrance of Schaumburg Public House.
