1. What's that smell? Not the furry costumes. An intentional leak of chlorine gas at a Rosemont hotel hosting the 2014 Midwest FurFest convention forced the evacuation of hundreds of guests and employees early Sunday. Police are investigating.
2. A 6-year-old boy was killed Saturday in what authorities are calling an accidental shooting in Villa Park. Michael Cattron III's family moved him to the suburbs from Chicago after his mother was shot to death while driving on the Dan Ryan Expressway.
3. A 46-year-old man was killed and another man wounded after a shooting late Saturday night in Aurora. Police are searching for an older model silver SUV seen speeding away from the scene.

8. The AMC Loews Streets of Woodfield 20 movie theater is getting a major upgrade - to the tune of $9 million - that will include better seating and a pair of dining areas. Capacity of the theater will drop nearly 60 percent - from 4,760 seats to 1,964 seats - as a result.
9. Two weeks after he was seriously injured when struck by a car while jogging with his cross-country teammates, Ryan Kissane was back at Palatine High School on Friday night to thank supporters. "I'm glad to be out and doing things, getting back to normal," Kissane said. "Day by day, I'm getting better."
