Boys volleyball: Lake County roundup
Libertyville d. Stevenson: Tough defense led Libertyville to a 25-23, 25-19 sweep of Stevenson.
Sam Kharasch had 16 digs while Konnor McCormack had 8 kills for the Wildcats. Setter Kyle Winiger had 11 assists and 4 digs.
For Stevenson, Grant Maleski rolled up 16 kills while Jeffrey Wang had 14 assists. Luke Feder led the Patriots with 13 digs.
Lakes d. Zion-Benton: Dalton Solbrig rolled up an eye-popping 24 kills, 4 blocks and 9 digs as Lakes out-lasted Zion-Benton, 21-25, 29-27, 25-22. Nick Halberg added 10 kills and 6 digs for Lakes while setter Colton Jewell had 36 assists and 8 digs.
Buffalo Grove d. Warren: Warren got swept by Buffalo Grove, 25-16, 26-24.
