After having two days off because of the cold D128 students started a digital petition to have schools closed Friday because of possible frost bite. The required number of signers was 1,000 and was met by 11:00pm that night yet D128 did issue a statement after the petition was sent to them but completely avoided who high school students felt that their safety was threatened enoughp that came together and tried to close schools.
