Thousands visit Cantigny Park to see Art in Bloom

Cantigny Park visitors had a chance to take in a variety of art Sunday during the Wheaton park's annual Art in Bloom Festival.

The festival featured paintings, jewelry, glassware, pottery, photography, mosaics and more from about 80 artists based mostly in the Midwest.

Organizers estimated that between 5,000 to 7,000 visitors would browse the art over the course of the weekend.

Aside from art, attendees had a chance to listen to some live music from Guitarra Azul, Classical Blast and Swing Forward.

Other fun activities included a kids art craft with bottle caps and an artist drawing caricatures of attendees.
