Schaumburg document destruction event set for April 6

Schaumburg is hosting a document destruction event exclusively for village residents from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 6, at the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court.

Two boxes of paper documents are allowed per vehicle. Paper clips, staples and envelopes do not need to be removed. CDs, plastic bags, spiral notebooks and 3-ring binders are not allowed.

Participants are required to bring their IDs to show Schaumburg residency. If you cannot attend the event, a communitywide recycling event will take place on Saturday, April 20.
