Patriots K Stephen Gostkowski misses first FG of season

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Stephen Gostkowski's field goal streak is over.
The New England Patriots' placekicker missed a 54-yard attempt in the third quarter of Monday night's game against the Buffalo Bills. He had made 22 in a row this season and 32 in a row overall, going back to his last miss on Nov. 30, 2014.
Gostkowski hadn't missed a field goal at home since Week 2 of the 2013 season. He hasn't missed an extra point since his rookie season of 2006, an NFL record 446 in a row.
