Cops helping out:

Wauconda police officers will raise money for Special Olympics on Friday by hanging out on the roof of Dunkin' Donuts, 469 W. Liberty St. More officers will be on the ground to collect donations. The event will run from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Police officers throughout the suburbs are holding similar fundraisers.
