Wheaton man facing child porn charges
A 24-year-old Wheaton man has been charged with four felony counts of unlawful possession of child pornography, police said Monday.
John P. Becker was arrested Oct. 27 and booked at the Wheaton police station in the wake of an undercover investigation. He was released after posting a $7,500 cash bond.
Police said in a news release that the investigation began after authorities received an anonymous cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Becker is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.
