Tour some of Roselle's top gardens
Six gardens will be featured in June when the Roselle Park District Garden Club sponsors its second annual Garden Walk.
The walk will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30, and feature a tour of a collaborative garden project with Roselle Elementary District 12.
Proceeds will go toward local scholarships and construction of the Roselle Community IMPACT Garden.
Participants can visit the gardens at their own pace and Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions.
Advance tickets for the Garden Walk will be available beginning April 9 at the front desk of the Roselle Park District Clauss Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., or on the district's website at rparks.org.
Tickets are $15, with free admission for children younger than 12. Tickets may be purchased for $20 on the day of the walk.
All proceeds will be used to support the club's annual youth scholarship fund and other local charities.
