Volo Bog seeks volunteers

Volo Bog State Natural Area seeks volunteers to fill two seats on the Friends of Volo Bog board, as well as docent/interpretive support and habitat restoration. The ideal board candidate should have an interest in one or more of the following: social media, members communications, grant application writing, as well as nature and environmental preservation and a desire to learn about the history and natural history of Volo Bog State Natural Area. Established in 1983, The Friends of Volo Bog is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the area's natural heritage, maintenance of site facilities, and advancement of educational programming.
