Petite Lake Road to close

Petite Lake Road will be closed to through traffic from Fairfield Road to Route 59 beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, June 15, and it is scheduled to reopen to traffic by mid-August. The closure is necessary to reconstruct and widen Petite Lake Road west of Fairfield Road to Route 59 and will connect the Petite Lake Road realignment project that was completed in 2012, according to the Lake County Division of Transportation. Work also includes curb replacement, storm sewer work and installation of a new bike path along Petite Lake Road. The detour route is Fairfield Road to Route 132/Grand Avenue to Route 59.
