New Island Lake trustees to be sworn in Thursday

Island Lake's newest village trustees will take office during Thursday night's board meeting. Newcomers Debra Jenkins and Sandy Hartogh and incumbent John Burke will take the oath of office and then begin their terms. All three were elected April 7. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave.
