Heartland Voices to hold auditions

Heartland Voices, an Elgin-based choral ensemble, is holding auditions for their upcoming 17th season of choral concerts.

There are openings in each of the soprano, alto, tenor and bass sections of the ensemble.

An audition time can be scheduled by calling Dr. John G. Slawson at (847) 347-4584 or by email at chordirektr@att.net.

Auditions will be held right up to the beginning of the new season on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Each person auditioning should prepare a selected solo to show the range and flexibility of their voices. All other parts of the audition will be presented at the time of the audition.
