Holiday light show to open in Vernon Hills
The annual Winter Wonderland drive through holiday light show presented by the village of Vernon Hills in cooperation with the Loyola/Cuneo Mansion & Gardens opens Friday, Nov. 28 and runs through Saturday, Jan. 3. Hours are everyday from 6 to 10 p.m. The light show will close on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but will be open for New Year's Eve. Cost is $5 per car Monday through Thursday, and $10 per car Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Due to the route configuration, tour buses, limousines, and stretch SUV's longer that 25 feet cannot be accommodated. Visit www.vernonhills.org/.
